Hondori Shopping Arcade runs from the statue of Hayashi Fumiko near JR Onomichi Station, about three kilometers and is fully undercover. There are lots of local shops in there, with restaurants, coffee shops and is a great way to keep out of the sun while heading in that direction to eat ramen or visit a local site located in that direction.
