Bicycles are available for rent along the Shimanami Kaidou. There are terminals on each island that they can be rented at or dropped off at. For a list of all terminals on the route from Onomichi City to Imabari City, follow this link in Japanese only.

To make reservations of bicycles and pick them up on the Hiroshima prefecture side of the Shimanami Kaido, please contact the Innoshima Community Center (Tel.: 0845-22-6565, Fax.:0845-22-5134), between 9:00 and 17:00. Please note that the Innoshima Community Center is closed between Dec. 29 and Jan. 3. Also, reservations must be made at least ONE WEEK BEFORE the actual rental of the bicycles.
