The most enjoyable way to see Mukaishima and its sights is by motorbike or bicycle in warmer weather or by car at anytime. Motorbike and car will allow you to visit many places in the shortest amount of time. If you have the whole day and just want to enjoy the coastline, you can circle the whole island by bicycle and even cross Innoshima bridge using the bicycle path. From Onomichi Bridge (bicycles cost 10 yen) the distance around Mukaishima Island is about 20 km.
