This festival takes place in front of the station and in the nearby shopping arcade. It is a celebration of the start of construction of Onomichi harbor's in 1740 with the help of Kakuzaemon Hirayama. This festival goes for two days and is held on the 4th Saturday and Sunday of April and has lots of activities including parades, competitions taiko drum performances and much more.
