Senkoji Park covers most of Mt. Senkoji (136.9m), and it was selected as one of Japan's 100 most beautiful locations for cherry blossoms viewing. This park is filled with about ten thousand cherry trees which bloom every year in spring, at which time countless visitors come to enjoy the wonderful, so typically Japanese “sakura” flowers. Cherry Blossom season begins from the end of March until mid-April.
