The city of Onomichi is known as a place favored by many writers. The Onomichi Literature Museum is a tribute to these artists, and you are invited to discover them through the books they wrote and the places where they lived. The museum comprises the Commemorative Library, the former residence of Kenkichi Nakamura, the former residence of Naoya Shiga and the Literature Park.

Hours: (Nov－Mar) 9:00〜17:00 (Admission until 16:30); (Apr－Oct) 9:00〜18:00 (Admission until 17:30)
Admission Costs: Access to all 3 houses: ¥300;  ¥240 each for groups of over 20 people,;Closed every Tuesday from December to February and from December 29th to January 3rd.
Access: On foot: 10 min. from JR Onomichi Station;  Bus: From JR Onomichi Station, get off at the Watashiba bus stop and walk 5 mins.
